There are several forms of solve defined in TRANSOLVE, among them one that takes a list of equations, another one that takes a single equation. After fixing bug #102 and #137,

fricas
(1) -> solve([exp(x)=2], [x])

\label{eq1}\left[ \right](1)
Type: List(List(Equation(Expression(Integer))))

returns the empty list, whereas

fricas
solve(exp(x)=2, x)

\label{eq2}\left[{x ={\log \left({2}\right)}}\right](2)
Type: List(Equation(Expression(Integer)))

gives the correct answer.
