Fricas is a general purpose system for doing mathematics
by computer. It is a descendant (fork) of Axiom.
It is especially useful for symbolic calculations,
mathematical research and for the development of new
[mathematical algorithms]?. FriCAS? has a strongly-typed
high-level programming language for expressing a
mathematical concepts. Over 1,000 mathematical domains and categories
are collected in the [FriCAS Library]?. Consult the
Rosetta Stone
to compare FriCAS? to some other
Computer Algebra
systems. Currently you can use Axiom, Fricas, Maxima (ATM rendering Maxima output is mostly broken), OpenAxiom?, Reduce, on this website. The results of your calculation will appear on the web page like this: fricas θ':=integrate(θ^%i,
Type: Union(Expression(Complex(Integer)),
