In src/graph/view2D/Makefile.pamphlet and src/hyper/Makefile.pamphlet the variable XLIB (defined in Makefile.pamphlet) is used to determine the path to libXpm.a. The problem is that with Xorg >= 7.0 the libXpm.a file is in /usr/lib and not in /usr/X11R6/lib so it's necessary to modify the variable XLIB.
